The next SAMI Meeting is November 8th, 2014 9AM
We will be meeting at the SAMI Hanger on the north side of Merritt Island Airport.
Dick Blondin will have a report on last weekends Pilots for Christ Convention.
Bring a side dish and a drink for the BBQ after the meeting.
The Sami Cares Ministry has a special request that you also bring any used warm clothing you might have for the homeless.
We need socks, gloves, sweatshirts, jackets, long-sleeve shirts and blankets. Men’s shoes and boots would also be nice 🙂
All items must be clean and in wearable condition.
We also need Aldies or Save-a-lot bags.
The plan is to make as many “Stay Warm” bags as possible for our local homeless. I have ordered some of the “space” thermal blankets and some hand crank flashlights to put in the bags and plan to hand them out at the Sharing Center and other homeless ministries.
