Air Shows:

SAMI / PFC was present at the TICO Warbirds Airshow March 11, 12 and 13 speaking and witnessing to many visitors over the course of the three days.  One guest was so interested in learning more about SAMI / PFC that after talking with us on Friday, decided to come to the SAMI / PFC monthly meeting the following morning. We now welcome Kenn Burrell as our newest SAMI member!

SAMI / PFC has submitted a request to attend the Melbourne Airshow April 1-3 and is waiting to hear confirmation.
SAMI / PFC plans to join in with PFC International leaders to attend one of the largest airshows in the country; Sun-n-Fun Fly In at Lakeland, Florida April 5th to 10th.
Daily flights from Merritt Island to Lakeland are planned. Please contact Dick Blondin or Kyle Dixon for details.

 

SAMI Flights:

  • On March 19 SAMI / PFC flew 24 of the 149 potential pilots as a part of the EAA Chapter 724 Young Eagles Day.  Several SAMI members volunteered providing fixed wing and helicopter flights along with student sign ups until rain shortened the event.
  • Planning is underway for an Easter sunrise flight along the east coast as well as a flight over our local seats of government to pray for local, state and national leaders, citizens and country on the National Day of Prayer May 5.
  • Please continue to pray that God will give us direction on how he wants us to use these planes.
