UPDATE: the air date for the 48 Hours piece on Amy’s story is Saturday, March 14.
On Saturday March 14th at 10 p.m the CBS show “48 Hours Mystery” will feature a segment on the unsolved murder of the daughter of Servant Air Ministries founder Bob Lehton.
Amy Gellert was a beautiful, loving and highly respected young woman returning from a Sunday evening church service when she was stabbed to death the evening of March 20th 1994. Bob and wife Bunny were also brutally attacked.
Although the story may be difficult to watch, Bunny stated in an article for Florida Today “There was a huge hesitation when ’48 Hours’ called. I’m a very private person, and we had to give complete access. But our sole purpose is to give people an opportunity to give us information that will lead to the capture of the person who did this.”
