Heads up to all.
On a mission trip after 3 hours of flight the Garmin 175 went dark. My first thought was overheating. After several minutes the unit began to brighten somewhat but then faded and brightened several times. We landed shortly after that. Maybe a day/night light sensor in the unit.

01/25/2025 11:00Z

Re-seated Garmin 175 and cleaned optical sensor on unit. Ops check good on ground.
