Servant Air Ministries took to the air over Cocoa and Melbourne Beach for the 19th year in a row on Easter Morning. The Piper Aztec was in maintenance, which left the Cessna 172 and Cessna 150 available for the flight. We also had a special guest appearance by Dwight from the Melbourne chapter of “Copters for Christ”. This marked the first time that any aircraft, let alone the lead aircraft was a helicopter.
“Jesus Loves” and “Jesus Saves” is written on the bottom of the Cessna 150 and 172 respectively. Flying over the beachside services promotes the name of Jesus Christ. As people look up, they know that Jesus loves them and died for their sins. SAMI is proud to fly year round with those words stamped on the bottom of the wings. People need to know the message of Easter no matter what time of the year it is.
