SAMI Donates Medical Supplies
Networking enables God’s people to get donations of anything into hands of those who need them most. First Baptist Church of Merritt Island donated truck loads of medical supplies to SAMI. Scott Langston gladly accepted the gift on behalf of SAMI and then contacted our member Chaplain Jim Powell’s Thailand Mission Project. Jim knew African Mission for Christ needed medical supplies and contacted Evangelist Theresa McElroy and Reverend Russell McElroy. African Mission for Christ operate in several African nations but SAMI’s donation is going to a Medical Clinic they are building in Malawi. They now own 6 acres and are building a Medical Clinic, an Orphanage, School and Church to serve the needs of the people living in Malawi. Evangelist is also a nurse (U.S licensed R.N.) and has worked with the Veterans Administration for many years and will be able to greatly develop the medical mission there in Malawi where there is very little medical aid available. They send a full size (40 foot) container over there several times a year with clothes, food, and NOW THANKS TO SAMI, medical supplies!

January 30th to February 7th 2016, Pilots for Christ Western Pennsylvania Chapter will be building a hanger in Guatemala and witnessing. Room and board in Guatemala costs $500 per person. Transportation will be $500 per person round trip if we can fill 6 seats in the Aztec. SAMI’s member Scott Saunders has experience flying over water and will fly the Aztec to Cozumel (4hr 13 min) and from Cozumel to Guatemala (2hr 13 min).
